Structural Protection

By utilizing air terminals, roof conductors, down conductors, ground electrodes (rods) along with proper bonding and grounding, a safe path for a lightning strike is provided to protect your structure.

Transient Voltage Surge Suppression and Power Quality Systems

Lightning Specialists can provide a wide range of surge suppression devices for electrical service, telecommunications and high frequency applications. We can provide a wide range of surge suppression and power quality products. Our recommendations for size and rating of TVSS products is based on ANSI and IEEE Standards.

Bonding & Grounding

This is one of the most important aspects of the Lightning Protection System and is also the most difficult to design and implement into a facility. Without proper bonding and grounding, a significant difference in voltage potential can develop between grounds causing side flash during lightning storms and power surges which often damages sensitive electronic equipment. TVSS devices cannot operate at their full potential without proper bonding and grounding.
